Family Foundations Trust is a registered charity set up in 1987 as a non-denominational Christian organisation working to further Christian values amongst children, young people and families. These objectives are achieved by means of residential activities, training courses and retreats, and by providing facilities for other Christian organisations with similar aims. Children Worldwide, a sister charity, partners FFT in meeting these objectives.
Family Foundations Trust seeks to model Biblical principles of the Kingdom of Heaven as demonstrated and taught by Jesus Christ. These Christian foundational values are promoted in all areas of the life and work of Family Foundations Trust, particularly in areas affecting family life and responsible parenting, based upon Christian marriage.
Family Foundations Trust maintains a network of contacts with other Christian agencies and bodies in order to share good practice and resources.
Family Foundations Trust adheres to the Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith, the Doctrinal Basis of Faith of the Evangelical Missionary Alliance (now superseded by Global Connections) and the Christian Camping International - UK - (CCI - UK) Code of Practice.
